Queensland could see a major investment in the region's infrastructure with reports of a potential a billion dollar allocation to the CopperString project in the upcoming financial plan. The CopperString project is a proposed energy corridor that would stretch from Mount Isa to Townsville, delivering much-needed power infrastructure for the state.
